William “Bill” Wheeler

William “Bill” Wheeler, an insurance industry veteran, has served on the board of directors since July 2025. He was formerly President and Vice Chairman of Athene Holding Ltd. and, before that, President of the Americas group at MetLife Inc. Bill has served on the board of directors of Evercore Inc. since 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wabash College, where he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
